Hate My Doctor's Office

This is crazy and you need to tell him/her what has transpired. I bet they will get you in first thing in the a.m. Either way, THEY NEED (DESERVE) to know what crappy staff they have and how you've been treated.

I think I have to call them, I am in so much pain this morning it is crazy. The skin is itchy and heeling so I think the staples are being irritated. Everything is very tender and irritated, I'm worried the skin is going to close on the staples per what I have read. I am so angry with myself now for leaving the office but at the time I could not sit there anylonger with my baby and the front less was 100% useless. Calling doctor now.

Let us know what they say, OP. Hopefully, they will respond in a way you deserve!

Dr. Agpar called me back and told me to come in first thing tomorrow morning. Somone was told to call me back to tell me that. If I had known I could get in on Monday I'd probably relax a little and not feel so crappy. I wish someone had called me back Friday. I will be there 8am on Monday. I'm glad I called! Thanks for all the support. This mom stuff is tough enough w/out delaing with other issues.

Good! Just curious if anyone else can answer: why would OP have been asked to bring baby to a post natal appointment with the OB? Is it just so OB can see the baby or is there a medical reason? Seems like it would be the former, since the baby would have its own ped. I might be a nervous first-time mom (aka paranoid?) but don't you hear advice that you should keep the baby home as much as possible during the first month? I don't know that I'd be into taking a newborn to a doctor's visit he / she didn't actually need personally.

This is OP, two years ago I was asked to bring my toddler as well. I think for some reason some OB's like to take a look at the baby. The baby has already been to the pediatrician for his two days out of the hospital check up they like to do. I wish I had a better answer for you right now, but I will ask tomorrow when I go in why they wanted to see the baby. I am guessing just to see it, just weird they did the same with my older son as well.

We'll see if we can find out for you though so you don't worry or get nervous there is enough to worry about!

Thanks OP -- I appreciate that. So how did it go? I hope the Dr was apologetic to you this morning...

Could you not have nursed in the waiting room or an unoccupied office?
