They aren't necessarily acting obnoxious, its just that anytime a large group of people move through as a herd, it can be irritating. To avoid them, just walk the opposite direction. They are usually following a specific route, so one you figure it out just go the other way. If you accidentally end up following them from one ride to the next, you are going the wrong direction! LOL. |
We went for the first time MLK weekend 2015. It was a bit more crowded than I expected (especially Tuesday in MK because I had expected the crowds to lessen by then). But it was not at all crazy busy and we had a great time. We did plan fastpasses, restaurant reservations etc. But we only booked the trip a couple of weeks in advance and were still able to get what we wanted. |
The weather will be a toss up. We went this same week a few years ago. The first few days, we were all wearing shorts. By Wednesday, it was COLD. Like 40 degrees as the high. The crowds were moderate the majority of the trip. There were lines, but they were maybe 15 mins long. We made the mistake of going on Saturday before MLK (we had one more day on our passes, so we decided to stop by before our late flight). It was CRAZY. |
Oh, they're plenty obnoxious. They are teens and love to break out in loud chants. |

We just got back. It's really cold. The wind is awful. As it got colder, the lines for rides opened up. We really had no agenda and just got fast passes for the few rides we wanted.
Get the Disney app, that was a huge help with wait times, fast passes and closings. |
