| Hawaii generally requires more miles than the lower 48. Best if OP says if they can "afford" that before people continue to suggest it. |

| We just did a trip like this. Started with a few days in Vegas, and then headed up to Vancouver, which we loved. Using miles, you can instead fly to Seattle, and then work your way up the coast of the Pacific Northwest. |
