| I like the Leonidas in Georgetown or Neuhaus in Union Station. |
| Neuhaus at Union Station is AMAZING. |
| Spagnvola makes wonderful chocolate. And you can tour the factory! |

I give these
http://artisanconfections.com/ but I'm in Arlington, so it's my way of showing local pride. I don't understand why some people are suggesting nationally available brands. Where's the fun in that? |
I'm in Montgomery County, and it's my way of showing local pride too. The chocolates and fleur de sel caramels are delicious. |
Same here! Still miss her little store in Georgetown. |
wonderful chocolates! |
Me, too. Although I'm fortunately on the Hill a lot on weekends. She's at the downtown holiday market right now, so go gets some chocolates!
|
| Artisan Confections in Clarendon. |

Bethesda has a local chocolate shop too |
| Chocolate House in DuPont. Their truffles are as beautiful as they are delicious. |

| I’ll echo the recommendations for Velatis. The sugary caramels are a DC classic. The toffee is my favorite candy ever. They also have several flavors of chewy caramels, and truffles , as well as a variety of seasonal candies. |
