Mil won't leave til she goes to the bathroom

Eh. Be glad you have never had bowel issues. When I was pregnant, the time span from urge to having to GO was seconds. I feel for your MIL.

Perhaps this is a legitimate thing when we get older.

I know it's a pain in the ass, no pun, but allow her to wait a little longer.

Because who knows? You might need the favor returned back to you in the future.

Some medications older people take can really wreak havoc with their bowels - so while it's annoying as heck it is a legitimate issue. Be thankful you don't have it.

Has it happened yet, OP?

Ok, it is annoying, but can't you go about your day?

Would you prefer that she suffer the indignity of pooping her pants on the way home, op? Have a little compassion.

OP wasn't screaming at MIL. She was anonymously venting. Get over it, DCUM.

Leave the house for an "errand."
I can't relax enough to poop on family vacations unless all of the extended family members are away from the rented house / family members' house.

You know, sometimes people need to be told when their reactions cross the boarder into asshole---even on dcum.

+1 and pretty awkward and gross that the whole family has to focus on someone pooping.

Bump. Did she go yet? Is poopwatch 2015 still on?

Oh, good grief. Give the poor woman time to finish "getting ready" for her trip....

WTH Op??

Ha ha. It's funny until it happens to you...
