Stupid wifely complaint

If only.

I have almost no peripheral vision with the glasses, which stinks, but they can be more comfortable than contacts. If all these years I might have been getting more girl reaction, maybe I'd have put up with the peripheral vision loss.

It's a thing for me, but the guy has to actually need them. Hipster poser glasses do nothing for me.

Compromise is key to a healthy marriage OP.

I agree...I tend to think that many men look so hot in glasses. Back when I was a kid, not so much. But glasses have come a LONG way since then and even people who don't need them, wear them to be stylish.

Anyway, that being said...When he wears his glasses, let him know how much sexier he looks to you. Tell him that you are not his mother or anything, but that you would just like it if he wore them more when you are both together.

I see no issue with that. It's not even a control or power issue. Just a friendly request.

Why can't we have preferences and share them (gently) with our spouses? I KNOW my dh loves when I wear a certain something ... And even thought it isn't MY favorite, I still worse it for him. I like it when he tell me what he likes. I wish he'd express his preferences more often, more strongly.
