hm, but it's so much better for the recipient just to get a lump of cash. Gift cards means she has to remember where she put it, and make a trip to that particular store. It may sound lame, but I lose gift cards. |

Depending on how well you know her, I would give fifty to possibly one fifty for her. Perhaps some Target/Walmart/Kohls gift cards if she has kids. |
Depends on how close we are, somewhere between $100-$250. Yes she has insurance but that takes time to submit a claim. If she's paycheck to paycheck she can't just go out and put a down payment on a new home until the insurance comes through. Lots of expenses between now and then. |
