Lydia the Tattooed Lady?

I couldn't pick this name after Breaking Bad, but if you love the name that's what matters.

I think it's a really nice name. I like the way it looks on paper, the way it sounds and the nickname of Lyddie/Liddie. However, I was surprised to see people saying it was uncommon or unique because I know quite a few girls/babies w/ this name. Seems like just a coincidence, though, because I just looked at the SSA list and Lydia was #84 nationally in 2014 so you're right that it's not that common, though I wouldn't exactly classify it as uncommon either.

Weirdly, I sort of like the name but many of the Lydias that I've met have been.....just that.

I love the name but DH thinks it's no good since it rhymes with chlamydia...

I LOVE it. Top contender if we have another girl.

Not very common but fairly recognizable to most people. I really like it!

Are you my dad? He loves Groucho Marx.

It was on our middle name list for quite a while, but we decided against it once we narrowed down our two first name picks. Good choice of something familiar, but not common.

I am not your dad, as I am female, but I do love The Fisher King. You should watch it with your dad.

Lydia Bennet is not really an inspiring namesake, though.

Right? She's the worst sister!

I went to HS with a Lydia - the only Lydia I've known - and I like the chef Lidia Bastianich. I like the name and can see it being on the verge of becoming popular.
