Admittedly charity wasn't one of my first thoughts, but I'd like to think I'd donate a portion to something like Doctors Without Borders or Mercy Corp or the Red Cross.

Invest it and spend the dividend. It wouldn't change my life, that's for sure. But it would make for a slightly improved quality of life, notably for travel, which is a luxury that makes me very happy. I would not pay off the mortgage early. It's better to be slightly in debt if the debt interest is worth less than the interest I can get by investing my money. |

Pay off the mortgage on my second house, do a couple of bathroom renos, and that would use it all.
Pay off student loans. Might buy a condo or little house in DC. If not, it would all go into savings. I'd consider spending some of it on a trip in another year or so.

load up on hershey, RDS.B, XOM, NSRGY, and a bunch of other bluechip stock
|
Come to DCUM and whine about how I'm still one of the poors.
600k? Blown it all paying off all debt and live a stress free rest of my life. We'd remain a 2 income housr.
Probably just invest it and retire a few years earlier.
Two chicks at the same time.
I'd fix up my house a little and pay it off, buy a new car, spend about $10k on dumb stuff I want, and then save the rest. Without a mortgage payment, I could live pretty large.
I would retire and live some where cheaper, maybe?
I'd buy a green dress. But not a real green dress, that's cruel.
Sock it away. Pretend it didn't exist until we needed it for a crisis.

Move to California. Have another kid. Save the rest for college funds. And, I'd continue to work....
