Q for lesbian moms - what do your kids call you?

Mommy (me, the non-bio mom) and Eemah (my wife who gave birth) here, both Jewish in background as well.

My girlfriend and I were just discussing this issue and this thread has been very helpful. Though neither of us are pregnant, we often discuss children and don't know what to refer to ourselves as, so this eased my mind a bit. [:

We are called Mommy & Mama. Sometimes Mommy becomes "Mom".

This thread has been very helpful. My partner and I are expecting our first child and my partner is really attached to Mommy (she's the non-bio). I think we might go with Mommy for her and Mamma for me. Seems like that's working out for these lesbian families.
