Trump was smart for attacking the Establishment candidates first. Neutralize their money advantage early and often.

Romney was an establishment candidate who trailed Cain by fewer than 10 points, with Gingrich polling around 10 percent and something like 15 percent of primary voters counted as undecided. The dynamic is much more complex at this point with Trump and Carson virtually neck-and-neck and very few undecideds.

I don't think there is a GOP "Establishment" anymore. The GOP brand is dead, it's now just an empty facade for various factions.

Didn't they say the same thing about Trump? If I were Cruz, Bush, or Rubio, I'd be concerned with him, although personally, his surge makes no sense to me.

The crazies will get weeded out. I actually think it helps to have crazies like Cruz, Trump and Carson because then when the real candidate steps forward, it will be a sigh of relief. The crazies make the real candidates look better.
