Do you think one is going to chase you out of the store?

Not just one !
I have visions of the entire oven coming alive all at once.
Jokes aside, I am concerned they are full of hormones/antibiotics.

Me too. I don't know how any parent can feed their children a chicken from Costco! So irresponsible IMO.

That is what you judge parents for? Wtf is wrong with you lmao. Maybe you were being sarcastic though...hmmm...

So, in summary:
1. Op meant WF not WH
2. WF's chickens are too dry
3. Costcos chickens are full of anti biotics and hormones
4. Peruvian chicken is tasty and the way to go, even if it costs more

the end.

You know what isn't worth it? The $20 organic rotisserie chicken from balduccis. TWENTY dollars!!! For a tiny chicken.

Food lion's is better. $4.99, same price as Sams.
Peruvian is somewhat better but more pricey.
For $4.99, I say Food lion, if you have one close to you.

Have you ever read the Food Lion issues with meat? I don't like to shop there.

It's been a long time since Diane Sawyer's program, but it bothers me to think about shopping there.

Giant and Safeway have two-for sales every so often. I buy two chickens when they're on sale and cook them at the same time in my gas grill. I use one right away for dinner plus we have leftovers for a day or so, depending on the size of the chicken. I remove all the meat from the other one and freeze it, so I have cooked chicken all ready for recipes when I need it. Then, I take both chicken carcasses and make stock and freeze that two. Much more economical than any of the above choices.

No hormones. Illegal to use them on chickens.

But it is put in the feed. That way they chicken will mature quicker so you have a fully grown chicken in half the regular time. Also they do something to the feed to allow the breasts to get bigger than normal because that is the most popular part. There have been several documentaries on this, like Forks Before Knives, etc. Chickens are treated horribly in the average chicken farm, most getting crazy feed and never ever seeing the sun or being allowed to move around.

Wasn't that a cartoon in the '80s?

PP, I meant the chicken discussion in Food Inc.

After seeing that, I prefer to buy my own organic chicken and roast it myself. It usually isn't cheaper that way, but at least I know what's in it.

I was just going to post that if someone is dumb enough to pay this then they deserve what they get.

This was absolutely my turning point, too! First it was chicken, then everything else. Never had that happen just from watching a film.
