[/quote] But it is put in the feed. That way they chicken will mature quicker so you have a fully grown chicken in half the regular time. Also they do something to the feed to allow the breasts to get bigger than normal because that is the most popular part. There have been several documentaries on this, like Forks Before Knives, etc. Chickens are treated horribly in the average chicken farm, most getting crazy feed and never ever seeing the sun or being allowed to move around.
