5 in a room? Need hotel room in San Francisco for parents + 3 kids in San Francisco

We stayed at the Marriot Union Square in a king room with a queen sofa bed. The 3 kids slept in the King, my husband and I in the sofa bed. It was fine.

We usually only get one room. It has never been a problem in the US. However, in Europe, twice we have had to get a second room. We were literally followed (the kids are all under 12).
