DVR. DVR. DVR.

I watch Blackish with my 10 year old. He loves it. I watch Empire at a later time, alone.

Nah I have a DVR. I chose to watch blackish and tape Empire (which I am really behind on) because it's easier to watch blackish while multitasking. Now that I think of it, Law & Order SVU comes on at the same time too. The few shows I seem to enjoy all air on Wednesdays

Apples and oranges. I am a huge Walking Dead fan. However, I always watch Blackish on my DVR before WD.

I should also add that one of my favorite episodes was the vasectomy one.

+1 I also loved the head nod, when white guy dumped daughter and they thought it was because she was black but it turned out it was because she was stuck up, and the one where Bo's neighbor thought she was broke. I watch it with my 8 year old and DH. While its not exactly PG it makes the entire family crack up. He really likes the scenes with the kids. It is such a brilliant show.

And when the daughter was fine with being dumped for being shallow.

I thought it was great last year - but it's been phenomenal this year. Laurence Fishburne just brings it. And the writers are nailing it with the conversation. The entire episode about gun control was the best discussion about the various viewpoints without getting vitriolic and one-sided that I've seen. Same for the n-word. So nuanced for a 1/2 hour comedy.

Nah - that was when the show was just getting its footing - With a year under its belt its getting so much better and really hitting its stride.

Agree! There are millions of teen moms, real housewives, walking dead threads. Sometimes a new thread is definitely warranted.
