I started a thread about this show last season.

I think it has been getting better and better. It's very smart and funny.

The entire episode about gun control was the best discussion about the various viewpoints without getting vitriolic and one-sided that I've seen. Same for the n-word. So nuanced for a 1/2 hour comedy.

Agreed. I was really impressed by the gun control and n-word episodes.

+1 I thought it was just ok last year, but the first few episodes this season were really laugh out loud funny!

Best show on television right now. The writing is really fresh and there are so many laugh-out-loud moments for me.

I find it just okay.

First year was good but I love that they are approaching touchy topics with humor this year. My husband finds it very amusing as well.

+1. The show is amazing!

I find the male lead (can't remember his name) a little over the top, but everyone else is spot on. Brilliant writing; arguably the smartest and funniest show on TV now. Love the parents, love the coworker (Charlie?), and especially love the kids.

We were slow to warm up to it the first season but love it now.

Laurence Fishburne is awesome. Hard to believe he's the grampa now. Seems like last week he was Ike Turner, and the week before that he was in college in School Daze.

talk about touchy topics. last night's episode was just whew! i don't watch regularly but catch it on demand. last night though i watched it as it aired. very timely discussion on black lives matter, police brutality and the justice system.

what did everyone think?

Best comedy show since Seinfeld. Truly, it is brilliant.

I thought they did a great job. Good for the show and ABC for airing it. Reminds me of "on a very special episode of Blossom" episodes from back in the day, but in a non-cheesy way. No one tackles tough topics anymore.
