I actually picked out my own ring while out shopping, my husband and I had been talking for a few months and looking online but hadn't seen anything I really liked in our price range. |
| $6K one carat oval in platinum |
| 8k for 1 carat but it is a flawless stone |
| 1.32 carats marquise cut cost my fiancé just over $10,000. Decline to post jeweler's name. |
You know, I could care less about anything to do with politics, pets or travel. So I don't post on those fora/threads. Why bother posting to this one? |
| I think like 2-3k but I didn't pick it out or pay for it so I have no idea. |
| $65. I picked it out. In the gift shop of the national park where he proposed. Had it on my finger 15 yrs + and get lots of complements. priceless. |
|
.5 and we got it for $699 back in 1987. My husband did give me a Tiffany's diamond eternity ring at our 10th anniversary. Looking forward to our 28th anniversary in wintertime. Big engagement rings mean nothing. |
| $850 in 2011. I picked it out- it's white gold with an emerald in the middle with 14 tiny diamonds around the center stone. I love it, he could afford it. What else matters? |
| Not totally sure, but about $5,000. It's not a diamond (thank goodness). |
Flawless actually isn't a good thing - you need at least a small flaw in order to identify it. |
| 1 ct solitaire, $14,000. To answer a PP's question, I know how much it cost because I do the finances including insurance. He surprised me with it and we never went ring shopping. I think it's a ridiculous amount to spend on a ring. |
Compliment = "I like your ring!" Complement = "This wine pairs well with this cheese." |
| $3k one carat diamond. Vintage ring and I love it.they don't make that cut anymore either. |
| Approx 2K for .75 carat, then bought a new halo setting for 1k, so about 3K for approx 1ct total. |
