Glossy black front door

Not "terrifying" at all. I suspect they are shopping for a new door to begin with, and looking to choose a black one.

Ha! I've experienced this myself and it's really something!

I stained the solid wood door myself, but later painted it to provide continuity. The front steps and facade accents were black. The heat is bloody ridiculous. I notice it even on rather chilly days!
