Girlfriend's mom's death suspicious

Sorry about your dad, but you and PPs are totally missing the point. OP's mom was healthy. AND not getting along with her significant other. The "not getting along" part is the scariest, because most times with domestic violence or other relationship craziness, friends and family have no idea how bad it's gotten because the victim doesn't want to upset others.

Her ending up dead and him rushing the cremation smells all kinds of fishy and I'd definitely have the daughter call the police and the coroner. Do the police even know they weren't getting along before she died suddenly?
