| oh it's one of the enrichment activities they offer at school (after school). He didn't like the soccer : ( so is giving Lacrosse a try. |

Yikes, and you have to invest in all of that equipment! Lacrosse can get expensive

My husband spends hundreds of dollars each season on titanium sticks, new heads, under armour, pads, gloves, new helmets, lacrosse bags. It gets very crazy. He plays on a club team and coaches youth lacrosse. BTW - if you wash stinky pads in the washing machine with detergent and white vinegar (maybe 2 cups) the sour smell comes right out. |

| DS1 plays LAX. I thought it was expensive until DS2 started swimming competitively year round. Suits/fins/goggles are (relatively) cheap, but pool fees are astronomical. |

send a note to you local community listserve - see if anyone is ready to part with a stick. (also check garage sales this weekend)
$150 stick is not what you need. You really should be able to find something less than $40. |

We have some furniture, bikes, garden tools, remote control toys and lots of sporting goods baseball, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, tennis equipment. Saturday April 18th from 9am to 1pm in Fairfax near GMU 123/Braddock Road. Address and directions will be posted Friday evening. |
