Handyman who charges less if you help

You aren't going to save money this way, but if you find the right handyman, you can pay more (through more hours) to learn the skills for next time. We have a longstanding relationship with ours, so he even spent two hours with our 17 year old to help teach some skills he wanted for a school project. And, oddly enough, i have done the same with my hairdresser! I paid for a full cut and she slept the time teaching me how to braid my daughters hair. Totally worth it!

OP here. God, I love when the dogs find a bone and attack. This is a concept I'm pretty sure I found out about here on DCUM, so I'm not sure why everyone is acting like this is the dumbest thing ever. Thank you to Andrea and the one or two posters who evidently didn't have pee in their orange juice. Or prostitution in their lives.
