+1 for the Once Again. I recently bought it from MOM's and neither husband or picky 5yo asked what happened to their Skippy. It's good. |

It is super easy to make your own peanut butter. Just throw peanuts in a food processor or blender and run the blades. You can add a tiny bit of oil just to enhance the blending process, but you don't have to. You can also add tiny bits of sugar and salt if you wish, but it is not necessary. We did this all the time when my son was younger and on a peanut butter roll. I liked doing it because I knew exactly what was in it.

| We really like the Safeway brand O organics no stir. It has the same consistency as Jif. |
I know exactly what's in my Smuckers. Peanuts. And I don't have to clean anything afterwards. |
| Costco sells organic peanut butter that is just peanuts and salt. Sure, Jiffy and it's added sugars may taste better on a spoon, but the Costco stuff is pretty darn good and my kids don't notice the difference (and I really don't either unless doing a side by side taste test). We store it upside down in the refrigerator and don't have any problems with it seperating. Plus, it's relatively inexpensive for higher quality peanut butter. |
| Just get the fresh ground pb from Whole Foods...delicious and not filled with a bunch of additives. |
| We like Jif. |

Costco!
Why not try almond butter - mix it up! |
I can't stand the stirring. PITA and what a mess. Jif Natural it is. |
+1. So good!!! And I was a die hard Skippy kid. |
Gross. It ain't natural. |
Because good almond butter costs like $15 a jar. |
Not peanut butter. Thank you for your useless addition to the thread. |
Not to Mention sun butter is vile. |

Another vote for Smuckers Natural. Put it in the refrigerator after you open it and you won't have to stir so much each time.
If you're used to sugar-filled varieties like, regular skippy or jif, natural peanut butter of any variety might take some getting used to. Once you do, though, you won't be able to go back. |
