It was bound to crack sometime. Leaving a vacuum was bad though. |
| It is hard to see how things could be much worse than they are now. |
We could be losing hundreds of troops a year again. |
|
This is heartbreaking.
Is there a way to set up military charters or something to get some of the children here to families who would want to foster them until their parents can find some sort of stable footing? An "orphan train" type of system? We would take in a couple without hesitating. |
Go to Glenn Beck's Mercury One. He already has a fund set called the Nazarene fund up that you can donate to to bring families here. He said the problem we are having is Obama will not let them in. Beck said he will personally go down to the border to walk them in if he has to (and there's an army of people who plan to join him). He is also setting up host families. |
| Poor baby! He looks like he is sleeping in a way. RIP - I don't believe in heaven but he is at peace. |
No, Middle Easterners have created their own crazy problems too. Such a sad, medieval part of the world. |
Take the whole.family. Not sure how separating children from their parents is the answer. Frankly, the answer lies in stabilizing a chhunk of Syria and all of Iraq. So many missteps by this administration. Pulling out of Iraq, not defending the "red line" in Syria. Agghh. |
Or thousands. |
| 40% of U.S. African American babies are aborted. No pictures though. |
| This is why it is important for a country to have neighboring countries be stable. Otherwise, this is what you get - hoards of refugees that could de-stabilize a country, not that I blame the refugees. I'd be right there with them if this was happening to my family. |
Oh fuck off miscreant. |
How long have you held this anger? |
The George Bush's invasion of Iraq has resulted in the birth of ISIS which has infiltrated Syria: http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-26116868 "The armed rebellion has evolved significantly since its inception. Secular moderates are now outnumbered by Islamists and jihadists, whose brutal tactics have caused widespread concern and triggered rebel infighting. Capitalising on the chaos in the region, Islamic State (IS) - the extremist group that grew out of al-Qaeda in Iraq - has taken control of huge swathes of territory across northern and eastern Syria, as well as neighbouring Iraq. Its many foreign fighters in Syria are now involved in a "war within a war", battling rebels and jihadists from the al-Qaeda-affiliated Nusra Front, who object to their tactics, as well as Kurdish and government forces." Life is short. Please learn something. |
| As a mother to a little boy that picture just broke my heart. Poor little baby. I saw on the news his 5 (I think) year old brother and mother also died. Bless them. |
