We know because she tried to snatch someone else's child. That automatically lowers her rating as a parent.

I agree it is a significant negative. But let's not pretend we have the whole picture. What was her policy on lunchables?

I was going to suggest that this was too serious of a topic for snark, but now I've been convinced otherwise.

Huh? The child was not actually kidnapped. No harm done. Why is it too soon?

wonderful, the broken metro comm didn't work. Metro is a heap of crap.

does anyone know if the perp may have mistaken the child for a relative or known the victim? Sometimes the mentally ill can do that.

I hope that 99% of people would help if they saw this happening.

I once had a drunk guy holding a bottle stand over me screaming. Nobody did anything. I looked around, and all the men in the car were looking at their phones.

Thank goodness the baby was strapped into the stroller!

Well, yes, usually babies are strapped into their strollers.

I wonder what will happen to the accused -- they can't just let her go. I wonder who she will turn out to be.
This is terrifying.

I don't understand this comment. The kid was strapped in and the mom was playing with the baby. Bad mother?

Two year olds are often not strapped in, depending on their temperament and routine.
