| What's so great about Harvard and Yale? Contrary to popular belief, attending those schools does not guarantee success in life, and success is life does not require an Ivy League education. In the end, graduates from those schools will work along side of graduates from state universities that didn't make it onto anyone's top 20 list. It just doesn't mean what you think it does. |
True. The better question is which undergrad program will best position DC to get into best graduate programs. DC have better opportunities NOT coming from HYP. |
| PP - intended to say may have better opportunities. |
Fewer than TJ in Fairfax County, which is local and free. What you make clear is you're an arrogant fool. |
| Actually I ran the numbers and chances are better coming from Whitman, BCC and Wilson. |
I think poster was joking. Most children have a better shot at getting into Harvard than into TJ. |
That is often the case. Also the big privates have more legacy kids which means fewer candidate slots from that school. |
In the country, probably not. But Among DC privates, GDS' strong ties to Harvard are well known. |
Please just stop. You're really looking like a fool now. |
| give it a rest pp. GDS doesn't get any more kids into HYP than any other decent private around here. |
Does anybody have any speculative information on which undergrad schools feed into the best graduate programs? Thanks |
I am certain that the answer depends entirely on the field of study. |
The most recent numbers I've seen (2013-14 class) showed just two (2) TJ kids attending Harvard, out of 455 seniors graduating. Not sure how that compares to other local schools. |

A little dated, from 2010, but OP is looking for a list like this:

| The only feeders are Andover and Exeter. |
