Special education tutors - have you worked with any of these folks?

OP I recognized one of those names because the woman used to tutor at McLean school back when they allowed outside tutors. (Our older child went there) I don't recall her reputation so there's no need for me to give the name. I do recall those tutors had very high rates and you could find someone good through the school system. A lot of special education teachers tutor on the side. You just can't hire anyone from the school your child attends. If there isn't a website for MCPS tutors, check with the special ed teacher at your child's school.

OP here - thanks! All the private tutors on lists like the one at Lab seem to be booked up. I will try with her sped teacher at school. For those who asked why we need this outside the IEP, this is a belt and suspenders approach. ALso, her IEP doesn't cover all the areas we want to address because her learning needs are unusual and we want to do more than just support her within the curriculum.
