I think it's great that you recognize that you're the "lazy" one - probably helps that you at least know this about yourself. some people can be pretty clueless. Also glad you have a maid - bet that helps a lot.
I'm single, so if I decide to slack on the dishes for a day or two, I'm the one who has to clean it up. I'm pretty neat, though I definitely had to relax my standards once I was pregnant and my energy dropped. Glad I did, or I'd be going crazy now that I have a child. It's too hard to get everything done in a day that I'd like to do, so I definitely have to prioritize things now, and things are less neat. I would kill for a maid, and would definitely get one if I got married and there were two incomes in one household. My sister is the "lazy" one. She is truly a messy person; I know because I shared a room with her growing up, and that part of her personality hasn't really changed. Unfortunately she's marrying a really anal-retentive neatnik, so sometimes I worry that they'll always have problems with that. (they already do.) |
LOL. So true. |
I am! Iwas a slob when I was single. I'm better now. My DH is way more OCD than me so he does most of the chores and the cleaning up (that the housekeeper doesn't do). I end up entertaining the kids a lot more so I think it evens out. |
