Anyone get a red rash on skin under wedding ring? what can I do?

+1 this did the trick for me as well. Was very hesitant to place my platinum rings in this solution but I figured I wouldn't be able to wear them anymore if they kept giving me a rash. This solution worked well and no problems since.


Pp one note. I didn't hang the rings over boiling water. The vinegar and hydrogen peroxide was sufficient to do the trick

I have a channel set diamond wedding band and this happens to me. I take it off at night and I get it cleaned often.

my skin only gets inflamed (with blisters) if I wear a certain white gold ring. all other rings, including engagement and wedding ring were fine. but after I put on clear nail polish on the inside of that ring (a favorite) I can wear it again.

anyway, if just cleaning it doesn't work, try clear nail polish to create a barrier.
