Kiddie Academy- Child Abuse case

The director should get slapped with a million dollar fine, payable to the victims.

That's how to stop this shit.

I'm quite sane. My child was not in that classroom but I know several of the parents who were. Those parents were shocked by the accusations and subsequent charges. I am also not the director nor owner. I would like to know what is crazy or nuts about leaving your child in a daycare where you've not had any issues, administration is responsive and your child is happy to go to school.

A PP said other workers (actually one not plural) were complicit; they are no longer there. Companies have policies, guidelines & procedures in place; employees are expected to follow them. They didn't. Again - they were fired.

The above 21:56 poster is a perfect example of an easily duped parent. They are the reason daycare child abuse will continue.

The only sign of insanity on your part is posting here and expecting anything other than over-the-top replies by raving lunatics foaming at the mouth. First time at DCUM?

And to think many parents in the world of DCUM trust centers over in home daycare because "there are more than one set of eyes watching over their kids". Well this has proven that theory wrong!

Many, many abuse cases go unreported because caring parents quickly pull their kid to safety, and don't press charges due to lack of evidence. It's really awful.

Any updates?

My baby was in this teacher's room at Kiddie Academy for a couple months, but before this abuse occurred. I have since left the DC metro area and just came across this shocking article. Needless to say, I'm sick to my stomach thinking that anything could have happened to her in the brief time she was there. Can the Kiddie Academy parent who has posted or any other Kiddie Academy parents - especially of babies in the infant classroom - reading this share your experience? Have you spoken to the investigators? How are you dealing with worry that she could have hurt others? Or are you convinced this was isolated to these two incidences?
