What do you order from a coffee shop?

Anonymous
This thread reminded me that, when I was little, my parents would sometimes take me out to coffee shops for hot chocolate. It was great. Then more recently, someone introduced me to Starbucks hot chocolate. It is really good! This is not my coffee shop go to, but I am making a mental note to remember to get it occasionally.

I've ordered the flavored shots, but I'd need like 5 of them to make their coffee not so bitter. They also never leave enough room for creamer. Why can't I fill my own cup at Starbucks?

Order your drink poured into the next size cup. If you want a tall ask it to be poured into a grande cup.

Typically, an extra hot latte. If I'm feeling indulgent, I'll get an extra hot one-pump caramel one-pump mocha grande salted caramel mocha (and feel like a tool for ordering a drink that takes two breathes to say). Once or twice a summer I get a frapachino because it reminds me of going to Starbucks as a teenager with my now-deceased mom.

+1 - Been doing this for years and it's normally fool-proof, although some of them will still fill up the larger-sized cup and I have to dump it...argh!. I'm like look, I ordered the small size in a large cup, not for extra coffee without paying but so I don't have to waste the coffee I ordered by skimming it off into the garbage. Frustrating!

Starbucks coffee is awful. I order the tea there, and even that is bad. However, at a real coffee shop (like Peregrine) I order the most basic coffee because I want the pure taste of good coffee.

In the summer, iced coffee with room for non fat milk.
In the winter, a nonfat latte.

When I want to be bad...
Summer- a coffee frappé
Winter- a pumpkin spice latte

Black tea with milk and sugar. Only at the airport Starbucks. It's my little indulgence before a long flight.

Wow, you're so hedonistic

I like cappuccinos, Americanos, and vanilla lattes. none of that skinny syrup nonsense, either

I get hot or iced lattes, no sugar. I like my coffee bitter, especially as a contrast with a cookie or muffin.

At Starbucks, a venti iced hazelnut macchiato with whipped cream.

At ABP, a medium hazelnut with half and half and a Splenda

I also love Krispy Kreme coffee. I like their original blend. With half and half and a Splenda.
