I recently came back from the Bahamas on Southwest. Reasonable fare, BUT beware that the Bahamas itself charges these outrageous airport and travel taxes to leave the country, so the fares are much higher coming home. Not sure about other areas, but clearly that would not be the problem from PR.

The lowest fare there on Southwest in August is $107-$132.

go to europe instead. the dollar is very strong right now-fares are cheap.
