Mine is autumn, and all my colors in my house tend to fall into an autumn spectrum: natural greens, oranges, rust, burgundy, pale golds, etc. My walls are light tones of warm taupes with green or gold undertones instead of grays. It makes me happy to be im my house because the colors make me feel like I do during my favorite seasons.
Coincidentally, my friend who loves summer has a house full of bold colors (but fairly neutral walls in different shades of white) and my friend who loves winter has darker walls and furniture with lots of rich textiles in plums, wines, golds and dark greens.
OP, my vote is for you to pick your wood tones and textile colors first, based on what makes you happy and go backwards from there to decide on your wall color. For me, just starting with a trendy color like gray would feel cold and limiting. I like more warmth and choosing fabrics before paint pointed me right in that direction.
This is excellent advice.
