I did both, but neither worked. Got a good response with EPP, though - just bad quality eggs. My best was a mini-stim like Cornell recommends for DOR (starts with Clomid and adds in lower doses of stims toward end of Clomid)- not that many fewer eggs than EPP, but 3 blasts, where in most of the EPP cycles I got none, but it ended in a chemical

EPP worked for me at 36. I have DOR and a starting AFC of 3/4. EPP (for at least 10-12 days before stims) ended up getting me 10-15 mature and retrieved each over 4 IVF cycles. It’s a lonngggggg protocol. Usually by day 7-9 of stims suddenly i’d get a huge response and then keep stimming till day 16-18 to get them all mature. With that said my first attempt got me DD with a 3 day fresh transfer. Since then I only freeze on day 3 and have had 6 failed FETS (not even a bfp). I’m 39 now and all the frosties were from cycles when i was 37/38. So maybe i just got lucky the first but I really respond well. We use mid dose stims (gonal/menupur) and i start ganerelix around stim day 9 as my body LOVES to ovulate early.
