I also felt this way when we finally, finally got to an actual pregnancy. I think it's completely normal and understandable OP.
Apart from one or two people we didn't tell people until we cleared the 12 week mark. Then we waited on pins and needles for all the various scans, anatomy scan, 24 week mark, 28 week mark, etc... I did relax quite a bit as the pregnancy progressed well, but I never had the stressfree mindset I might have had without the struggle it took to get there. Hang in there! |
| I can understand your hesitation. Go day by day if that's what you need to do. Sending you best wishes. |
Thank you all so much for your kind words and support. Glad to hear that I am not alone. And, can't wait to allow myself to be excited

| Yep, same for us. We didn't tell work, family or others (except for extremely close friends) until around 18w because I was afraid something would go wrong. |
Same for us. Nobody in the family knew until 28 weeks. I freaked out before each appointment. It all ended well. I cried in relief in the delivery room

Me, too, and I think the people that announce at six weeks are nuts. |
