Second pregnancy: my boobs!
First pregnancy: no clue. |
|
I've had a miscarriage and two pregnancies.
Uncanny sense of smell was a tip off after the first time. And having lots of dreams (not usually a dreamer). With my last pregnancy, I actually really do think I felt the implantation. |
| With my first I had 5 negative tests before I took a positive test. And then I took another after the positive test to make sure. It also came back negative! I just felt noticeably different. The biggest was that I couldn't stop burping of all things. With my second it took me about 9 weeks to realize I was pregnant. But in the week or two before I figured it out I was incredibly emotional, tired and I couldn't eat. And then I felt positively horrendous with both of them until about 12 weeks. |
| Yes, I get SO overly emotional about things days before a positive HPT. Happened for both my pregnancies. |
|
yes. first time i tasted lettuce and it was so so bitter and mettalic. second time i tasted wine and it was so very bad tasting but no one else thought it was bad.
|
| sore boobs and incredibly thirsty. |

I felt the implantation occur. It was an odd cramping sensation as a PP mentioned.
I was in the 2 week wait and I felt suddenly light headed as I walked down the hall at work and then it disappeared. I actually closed my office door, laid down on the floor and fell asleep in the middle of the day. Boobs were sore Something about my face looked different -- I couldn't quite place it. Don't know if it was my skin or eye color, but I swear my reflection looked softer. I was sitting at my desk and all of the sudden my cheeks got very flushed and hot for about 30 minutes, but the rest of my body temp was normal and my HR was not elevated. I took a blood test at the doc because I was there for a pre-pregnancy appointment and it came back negative, but later that evening I felt the implantation cramping and a few days later I started testing positive on urine tests at home. |
| Woke up hungry in the middle of the night. |
| My breasts started feeling sore within a week of ovulation. It felt like my usual pms soreness but it didn't go away after a day or two and it was also too early for it to be pms. I was really in tune with my cycle, I'm not sure I would have been so aware of it otherwise. |
| Both times, extreme fatigue and bloating. The second time I knew even faster, since I had experienced the same symptoms the first time. |
| i just had a really strong feeling that something was "different" I can't really explain what it was, not really anything physical, just a sense that something was off. when i took the pregnancy test, I was not surprised at all. excited! but not surprised. i felt like i just knew |
| My cat. As soon as I'm pregnant she is glued to me and always wants to be on my belly. |
|
Yep. Every month we tried I either knew we weren't pregnant after a few days, or (twice) knew we were. Nothing symptomatic. Just a feeling I had. Or maybe there was something symptomatic and just so subtle I didn't even pick up on it. I told my husband each month after just four or five days whether we were or weren't, and was always right.
And yes, I know this could all be a crazy coincidence. |
|
My first 3 (one went to term), I had different symptoms than my typical PMS. I had really sore boobs and abdomen.
With the final which resulted in #2, it just felt like extended PMS. I was positive I was NOT pregnant (3 years of secondary infertility and only one positive from an iui will do that to you)-took the test to prove my body was just screwing with me. That little surprise is currently babbling at me from her exersaucer. |

First pregnancy: implantation bleeding
Second pregnancy: cramping (I usually experience no menstrual cramps) and heavier boobs |
