A Little Thief

I don't understand, there's an ID and a pin? Is the ID an actual card or a number? So if someone memorizes, both they have access? Is that what's happening?

The reason why OP did not notice it is most people only notice when the money is billed by mylunchmoney.com. I get an email. At times, the money seems to be going faster, sometimes slower. In my case, we would notice it quickly, as my DD usually brings lunch.

It should be easy to track down, though.

What should we do?

Tis happend to us. A kid was using our pin# by mistake, called the school problem solved.

This thug is getting 2 to 3 $.75/item every single day. So far ~ $100 stolen.

I know it's not my kid, some of the things that were bought are the kind of items that my kid would never like to eat.

Also, the timestamp when the PIN is entered is not my kids lunch time.

Seriously?

Also why did you let it get to $100 before you said anything?

Do you review your kid's my lunch money account every day? I know I don't, so this could easily happen to me.

OP, I actually think it's pretty easy for a kid to consistently transpose digits in their number, or for a staff member supporting a kid with a disabilities to mix up numbers. Either way, the money should be refunded.

I also think your use of the word thug is pretty offensive here.

OP, you can solve this problem without calling anybody names. You've done it twice already in this thread. Take a few breaths, read the advice here and best of luck to you.

Notify school. They can tell when the pin is logged. They can figure out who is doing it. I wouldn't have them change it until they figure out who it is though. Otherwise the kid will just start again with another one.
