| I used to be vegetarian, but I got tired of the holier than thou attitude, so now I eat meat too, even though I mostly cook vegetarian. I see a lot of holier than thou attitudes with vegetarians. Love RR Roast Beef Sandwiches! |
This post makes no sense. |

I would say the person is a vegetarian.... that slips up now and again.
I don't drink soda. But I might take a sip of my son's at a party. I still say I don't drink soda. |

LOL - the vegetarian who eats Five Guys! Extra bacon too?
|
+1. And please don't ever tell someone who invites you over for dinner that you are.a vegetarian. If you can make an exception a couple of times a year for fast food, you can make an exception out of courtesy to a host who invites you for dinner. Just say you rarely eat meat which is the truth. Calling yourself a vegetarian. Is stretching the truth too much. |
I was a vegetarian for about 6 years. When I restarted eating meat, my body reacted the exact same way it had reacted previously. There was no adjustment period. |

mmmmmm....5 guys...
Sorry, I'm pregnant. That is all. |
| Mostly vegetarian. |
| I knew a guy who would say, I'm a vegan but sometimes I eat bone marrow. Uh, ok. He was truly annoying anyway, total douche. |
This made me crack up. |

This thread is ridiculous. Like a Five Guys burger is so awesome that Vegetarians simply HAVE to have one occasionally?
FG is mediocre at best. Who's paying you to promote it OP? |
Bizarre conclusions you are reaching there. My post is in response to this from another thread:

| Oh man, now I am craving 5 Guys! |
Different PP. I had two friends who both stopped eating meat and had digestion issues when they resumed eating. One had been off for about 3 years and one for about 15 years. In both cases, it took several months of slowly introducing animal products back into their system for their digestion to normalize without gas, gastric pains/cramps, and waste elimination issues. I've known others who didn't have problems like you, but there are exceptions, so PP's story is not that unusual. |
| Someone who eats meat occasionally is not a vegetarian. No matter how hard you want to call yourself that - there's only black and white with this. |
