WTF?

Any suggestions for acclimating them to one another. This hasn't happened with any of the other grandchildren. They all love her and the baby doesn't do this with anybody else.

Have her use the same laundry detergent, soap and shampoo as you, and no perfume. And…toothpaste? (re smells, what about lipstick or face cream? Try without those)

One of my good friends in NY babysat my four month old DD for 6 hours. We had to go to a wedding so were there for the weekend. DD had met my friend three weeks ago on another weekend trip to NY. She hated her and would cry every te my friend carried her. She loved my friends husband and very one else we met. The weekend after that my friend and her husband came to visit us in DC. She cried the first day whenever my friend would carry her. The second day she still didn't like her but didn't cry. Instead she just stared at her and analyzed her. I had told my friend to speak to her in a low voice and be very gentle with her. The weekend after was the weekend we went to New York when my friend had to babysit. I told my friend to make sure to feed her (instead of letting her husband who DD loved feed her). After being fed by my friend DD started to like her. You should try something similar!

I knew one baby who screamed at grandma every time she was close, until grandma finally removed her eye glasses one time. Babies are weird.
