Don't be cruel pp |
That's what the ICU doc told us |
Medical person here, the doc probably meant that in your particular situation they wouldn't leave it on for more than 2 weeks, but that is not a hard and fast rule |
Well, it's not like they have a choice now. She's alive and breathing on her own. Unless we allowed the to actively put her to death, which we don't, she's going to keep living until she dies a natural death. The time when options exist is early on when they are being kept alive by ventilators. I worked as a brain injury case manager for many years. I can't recall ever meeting a family that gave up hope. Everyone believed their child would be the next miracle or if the facility just gave more therapy, their family would wake up. |
Two can play that game |
You guys need to cool it now |
| This is the consequence of Bobby's lifetime of self-destruction, abuse and neglect. He sucked his wife and daughter into his tornado and they never got out. I suspect his parents never gave a shit about him either. |
how did he suck his wife into anything? i get so sick of people who truly believe he "took" whitney down the wrong path. clive davis and that whole machine did a great job of portraying her as a pop princess. so much so that a certain population believe(d) it to be so. |
Thanks for your input. I am the OP. Seems like essentially Bobbi's now stuck in a sort of purgatory; but there is no way for anyone to know what she herself would have wanted or what she wants (if she is able to think at all). Doesn't sound like it In tryin to put myself in her dads shoes - trying to think: what would I have done? Well, the only thing I come up with is empathy for Bobby and sadness as to what happened to Bobbi. It's terribly sad situation all the way around. |
True that. It's been pretty well documented that Whitney loved her drugs long before Bobby came into the picture. I feel truly sorry for their daughter who was born to two addicts. |
from what my mom tells me a family of addicts. sissy too. very sad. i wish there was some way for that addiction to not be passed on to children. |
amazing |
And it took this poster less than a minute to come up with this zinger. Standing and clapping! |
For the win! |
I think it's safe to say they were both humpin around. |
