How much do you pay for cable/internet/home phone package? Feeling ripped off

Sounds kind of high OP.

We have ATT Uverse, the full cable package with all cable channels, full phone and the highest speed internet. We paid $250 per month, but recently called and threatened to cancel, so we got the bill lowered to $170 per month. That is for DVR service and four boxes as well.

I actually don't think that's the slowest internet and the phone includes long distance, voice mail. Etc. i actually thought what we were paying was high... And wouldn't be surprised if this thread backs that up. Yours sounds way high.

We have a similar set up for a similar price with Verizon.

So do none of you bundle your cell and FiOS with Verizon?

I refuse to use a cable based landline, which you have to do to bundle your home phone. So I can never get the cheapest packages.

No home phone. We pay $85 including taxes to Comcast for internet and VERY basic cable - we get fewer than 25 channels, no DVRs or anything.

It's a pain in the rear, but I have found it very helpful to go to the local Comcast office, take a number, and speak to someone in person. I felt like they were direct and willing to cut me a deal. Calling the 800 number was always very frustrating because I felt like they were always giving me the runaround.

We pay around $240/month with FIOS. We have whatever their bundle is with landline, cable and Internet. Our cable is what gets us. We have 3 DVR boxes (1 in our bedroom, 1 in family room and one in basement by gym equipment). DH loves the movie channels so we have those as well. I know it's a huge amount to spend, but it's not something DH is willing to budge on, and he says that even if he cancels the movie channels it's a negligible savings. We live in a new development and fios is the only option right now. Hopefully we will have more options in the coming years so we can at least have some leverage.

We have FIOS for tv, internet, and VoIP phone. We have every movie channel and 3 DVRs. We pay about $170/month.

We have FIOS with two DVR's and 7 total TVs with all of the cable packages - I think we pay about $270 a month.

We pay COX $60 a month for internet only. It's the intermediate package. Alarm company charges $10 a month for cell connectivity. We pay $11.95 a month for Netflix - 4 screens at a time.

Between that and over-the-air TV, we get just about everything we could ever want. Only thing we miss are sports events, but no one in the family are sports buffs. ESPN also streams a lot of games over the web so there's always that.

$65/month for FiOS internet, around $42/month for DirecTV.

A PP asked why not bundle FiOS and your Verizon Wireless cell plans. They don't allow this. Verizon Wireless is a separate entity from Verizon (landline/TV/internet service). I wish, though.

$110

We have DirecTV and pay $275/month - 6 HD DVRs, 3 Genies, all movie channels except Cinemax, NFL package, all cable TV tiers; pretty much everything, but the porn package.

We have no home phone and Internet is through our HOA (I think it represents around $55 of our monthly dues amount).

We have internet with basic cable +HBO with Comcast- $55 a month.

$110 including all taxes and fees and two HD set top boxes (not DVR). We get internet, phone and cable. Cable bundle included every premium channel (HBO, Starz, Encore, Cinemax, etc.). The $400 gift card essentially offsets the cost of the installation and modem that FIOS makes you buy (or rent but I think it was cheaper to buy it over the course of two years).

After two years I'm sure the price will skyrocket at which point we'll switch to the cable company.
