Anyone else have an ex who married a near stranger?

My own DH and I were living together after 3 months, engaged at 6 and married shortly thereafter. I'm sure his ex wife thought something weird was going on but nope. Five years later we are still very much in love and happy.

lol. Thou dost protest to much.

Now if he starts welching on child support payments, etc., go after that, or if his home has crack pipes sitting around, shut visitations down.

If he seems just a bit "off" but otherwise wants to see the kids and is okay/good with them, and the only flaw is "ZOMG NO SPARE ROOM" I woudn't fuss overmuch about that.

You can't do that. Child support and visitation are two different things.

You tottaly missed OPs statement. Are you you by chance a Fox News editor?

He's a man, mentally ill or not. Statistically men survive longer (yes, live longer) if they are married. Statistically women do not.

Is there a follow up, OP? Curious if things ever got better for your family. My XH is now being divorced by the near-stranger he married. It lasted less than a year. I resent that my child even had to meet the SM since she's leaving.

What is the illness? Bipolar?

How do you know she's a near stranger? Maybe they've been dating awhile and just decided to introduce her.
