Where did you buy a glider?

There is a baby store in Manassas -- can't remember the name -- we bought our glider there. It is a Dutailier and it was pricey, but we wanted something super comfy that could work in a living room setting, i.e., look like another piece of furniture and not a baby item. Still love it to this day!

The baby store in Manassas was called Baby 2 Teen, and we got our DD's nursery furniture there. Unfortunately it has gone out of business. The owners got too old to keep the business going and there was no one who would take it over. One of the managers now works at Kids to Teen Bedrooms in Tysons.

Try them out at the stores mentioned above, then buy on Craigslist or your local mom group -- SO many used ones for sale.

Craigslist. AND I was able to sell it for the same amount I paid for it.

We bought an expensive Dutailier and I used it for maybe a couple of weeks. My baby never latched and I needed something else (a wider seat etc.) for pumping. I am going to put mine up for sale on Craigslist. I bet there are others for sale on Craigslist.

I got mine at Habitat for Humanity restore for $60 in Alexandria. I reupholstered it myself.

I got mine at great beginnings. Took 6-8 weeks to deliver (custom fabric). I was aware of time frame from day one. The accepted buy but baby coupon and gave discount. I thought their selection was bigger than Bbb (though I think both order from same catalogs).

I sat in a bunch at Buy Buy Baby and Great Beginnings. When I decided on the one I liked best, I made a note of the model # and the # of the fabric color I wanted. Then I searched online for the best price. Can't remember the website I used since it was 6 years ago -- but it worked out well for me!

Just don't buy a Dutailier, I HATE mine, it seemed so comfortable in the store but it's hard and uncomfortable, even two years after daily use. I hate it.
