| Ours is about $180 a year for $1M too. Still a great deal but not $100. |
| We have 3 "youthful drivers" and pay $1500 for $5M. |
| Those that have umbrella ins., could you recommend yours? Company I mean |
We have our car and home insured by USAA. Ask your current insurer- prob the easiest and cheapest. |
| We used to have everything bundled with Geico and just switched to Amica---now have everything there. Umbrella cost went up slightly ($20 a year) but homeowners and auto was enough of a discount that we're still saving money. |
| State Farm. Also about $100 ish annually. |
| You have to have everything ibsured through a single insurer btw |
|
The umbrella is about $100, but you have to increase your auto coverage and decrease your deductibles, so overall you will probably pay significantly more to add umbrella.
But as PPs note if you have assets in excess of $500k you really should have umbrella coverage. |

Assuming you have assets (significant equity in your home, for instance), it's totally worth it for the peace of mind.

| Yes - its a no brainer. You can't afford not to have it. |
| Yes, six million thru State .Farm. we.'r lawyers. never had to use it yet but with teens driving and a pool you can't been too safe |

| I just paid ours and it was $150 for the year. It is worth it for peace of mind. |
