Moms (or dads) do you workout at home?

You should look at health.com. You can create your own workout by choosing from the many that are shown.

I have an elliptical that I use when I don't want to run outside. It was totally worth buying but I am generally very good about getting my workouts done (I need it - physically and mentally). My husband uses it, too.

Another idea - do you have a bike? A bike trainer is not that expensive and doesn't take up much space. You could put your bike on it get a good workout indoors.

I work out most days, and really hate working out at home if I can avoid it. I like using cardio machines, and the ones you can buy for your home will never compete with those at the gym. That said, in a pinch, I really like using the PopSugar app on my ipad. What's great about it is that there are a ton of short workouts for whatever body part you want to use. My kids (2.5 and 5) even love to do a lot of them with me. And because most of them are 5, 10, 15 minutes long, they're easy to squeeze in (even if not consecutively).

I got one of these used on craigslist: http://www.amazon.com/Stamina-55-1610-InMotion-Elliptical-Trainer/dp/B000VICRO8/ref=lp_3407771_1_1?s=exercise-and-fitness&ie=UTF8&qid=1423516460&sr=1-1

It has attachments so you can work your arms while on it and small enough to fit anywhere... love it.

I got in the best shape of my life at home.

Try beachbody dvds, I'd recommend T25. Try bodyrock too (search youtube). With a jump rope, resistance bands, a few free weights, you've got all you could ever need!

We have small gym in our basement with a treadmill, elliptical, weight machine, ballet bar and weights/mats. Plus a TV and some DVDs like Beach Body and P90X (or whatever that crazy one is called!)

DH and I work out together at least 5 mornings a week before the morning rush. We put on the news and catch up on our lives. It's a great time for us to connect and spend some time together while doing something healthy. We both work long hours so this is really the only time we can exercise. It's really nice to do it together.

Kettlebells and TRX.

I do barre3, physique 57, and gaiam TV. I really like barre 3 but am afraid it isn't doing as much as i need. physique 57 is more challenging but the options are more limited. I will say that I am shocked by how frequently I do these workouts -- I quit the gym in late 2013 b/c with the birth of #2, I was no longer going enough to justify the expense. though my postpartum body still depresses me, I am definitely not in worse shape than before.
