| Every night. I used to be a great cook, but he enjoys it so much that I have just stopped cooking. I don't grocery shop either now. Kinda weird. |
| Husband here. About 3 times a week, depending on schedules. Generally, whomever doesn't cook cleans up. |
My DH started cooking when your baby was born, and he is a fantastic cook! Who knew Well I did not really give him the chance before and he showed no interest.
He cooks all the dinners now because we BOTH realized what a shitty cook I was! |
|
DH does all of the grilling. That means every Sunday night (rain, shine or snow) and durring the warmer months at least 2 other times per week.
DD12 and DS9 make dinner once per week. DH does lots of things around the house that I don't do so it is all good. |
| Mine knows how to open a take out container. He's the person that will open the fridge and see raw chicken and vegetables and announce there's nothing for dinner. |
| We both work. I (DH) come home first so I am in charge of making dinner. DW does dishes. |
+ 1. That is my DH as well. And the kicker is that I am a SAHM, and could handle cooking dinner easily. I however cook when we are entertaining - usually large number of people. Dinner for 40-50 people. But everyday dinner is handled by him. I will take care of grocery etc. |
| All the time. He is quite skilled at whipping up a family dinner at the last minute. He will also frequently cook his own meal if he doesn't like what I'm serving. This doesn't bother me at all since he's taking care of his own problem. |
| hahahaha! DH cook dinner! that is a funny joke! |
| Bought DH his dream Viking range and haven't had to eat out or cook since. He's obsessed. I do all the dishes and cleaning, but man he loves to cook. I almost want to complain about all the dirty dishes, but that's life? |
| Once a week. He also does the dishes and the laundry, though, so we're good. |
|
Never, but he handles a.m.'s with the kids -- oversees breakfast and packed their lunches until they got old enough to do it themselves. I leave the house at 7am and am home by 5pm to do the evening shift, including dinner. DH does a.m. and get home around 7pm.
Also, I like to cook and am good at it while him, not so much. He does do the grocery shopping and takes care of the dirty dishes! On the rare occasions that I'm out of town they seem to survive on pizza and cereal. |
| Once a week--the only night I get home after him. He also will do a breakfast on the weekend and sometimes a weekend meal. We eat out/order in once a week or less. |
| Never. If I go out of town for work, he orders ALL the pizzas and they live off pizza until I get back. I'm not sure how he survived the 35 years before he met me. |
|
Mine cooks all the time. Especially on weekends. He loves to cook big so I don't have to during the week. And I am grateful beyond grateful. We both do clean up together.
He is a fantastic cook and a master of the outdoor grill. I loves his old ass.
