Try to get him to have a vasectomy, so he can keep a focus on your kids.

I'm sorry.

Yes, and men should make sure to have their wive's tubes tied before divorcing so she can focus on his kids. That is silly.

Silly? I have heard women sitting in a park talking about this as a strategy. Some people really think this way.

I think it is brilliant! This has never crossed my mind, but i will file it away.

It's not brilliant. It's pathetic. To trick someone into rendering themselves infertile for the rest of their lives?

Just because they talk about it does not make it right. Anyone who would push that is sick.

Yes, but it slows them down. I am the one who posted about my BIL who got the 25 year old pregnant. That would never have happened on that fling had he had a vasectomy.

BTW, my sis divorced her alcoholic 45 yr old husband, who promptly got a 25 year old woman pregnant. He died the next year, and 60% of the life insurance went to the 25 year old woman, and my sister's 3 kids got the remaining 40%. He was not married to the young woman, but she made an argument that her baby would cost more to raise than my sister's teenagers. I have never heard of such a thing, but try to get the life insurance squared away.

Actually it makes complete sense. He's only obligated to care for the children until they are 18. The older kids were already teenagers. The baby still had 18 years. Makes complete sense. Is it fair? I don't know. He did have a responsibility to the baby.
