What boots with skinny jeans?

No ballet flats - I am wider in the hips and need a boot to be able to pull off the look of the jeans. How high should the boot be, I guess is my major concern. Is up the the knee my best bet to balance my hips?

I wear booties and riding boots, with mine.

A lot depends on how long your legs are and how your weight is distributed. And you're not too late to the party. This trend will be around for a while.

+1.
I have large thighs and wear ankle boots and booties with slim-fit jeans.

All ankle boots do is accentuate your large hips. You're kidding yourself if you think otherwise. To the previous poster who wears mid-calf boots - YIKES.

Eh. I get compliments on them all the time. You biddies need to broaden your horizons.
