"Aside from being far to small for my DD, we were very disappointed with the academics. "

Academics like distinguishing "to" from "too"?

The 3 girls I know who have gone to HC have had learning issues and/or were not strong academic students. But, not every school needs to be an academic power house - there are lots of different types of students in the DC metro area! The girls I know are all very happy there. They say it is a very warm community.

When you ask for a rating of 1-10 on how "good" each school is - what is your definition of "good"?

The Holy Child website emphasizes the differentiated instruction and attention to individual learning style, which is great for all learners of all abilities. But we're interested in learning more about the student population. Is there a significant HC student population with serious learning challenges? How do the academics compare with other neighboring Catholic schools?

What classes does SR offer that is not offered at the other 2?

I don't think it's the range of classes that make Stone Ridge so much better. It's the peer group and seriousness of purpose and teachers etc. it's just better than these other schools.
