| The Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella is fun if you like that sort of thing. I always love a cozy - anything by MC Beaton is a good light read in my book, or John Sherwood, etc. Also all those food-based mysteries, like those by Isis Crawford or Joanne Fluke (earlier books are better than later IMO) though they can make one hungry. Bernard Cornwell can be good too, if you don't mind plenty of matter-of-fact warrior-style stuff. |
