I ordered a $75 prime rib for Christmas dinner and it was absolutely delicious but my husband and teen stepson refuse to eat leftovers, even prime rib, so NYE dinner won't be anything fun like lobster. I'm not wasting another $100 on dinner. They're getting Velveeta and rotel dip and buffalo wings for NYE dinner.

I'm going to finish up the ham today - making potato/ham/veggie soup and Hoppin' John to have on hand for the new year. If there is anything left (and there should be)- some tasty casseroles from some of the ideas posted in the leftover ham thread.

Sigh. Trying to get back on track for the last few days of the year. Met my weight loss goal for the year, but then ate a lot of feelings for the last couple of weeks. Mad at myself. Salad. Raw veggies. Lean meats. Let's go, self.

Not much because we had the stomach virus and can't eat as much anymore. Think my stomach shrunk!
